While listening to the local news the other day, it was mentioned that one of the best ways to a woman’s heart on Valentine’s Day is to purchase her pet a gift.
I can see why this would be appreciated. We all love to see the enthusiasm our pets show us when they get something new, whether it be an exciting new chew toy or a yummy treat. And, we all know how important it is to keep our pets engaged.
Today there are so many great items for pets to keep them interested and busy. You can choose from dog puzzles that keep treats hidden until your pet releases them, there are treat balls that encourage a keen mind to let the treats escape and there are heavy duty, almost indestructible, chew toys that will keep them busy all day long.
If your favorite girl is a cat lover, there is also a great selection of Valentine’s gifts. There are maze toys, wind-up toys, laser toys and swatting toys all designed to keep the cats and kittens interested. And, yes, there are even treat balls which must be figured out to let the tasty bits escape.
And, let’s not forget about the bird lovers. There are so many foraging toys, mind game toys and different degrees of chew toys to choose from. There is something available for every size and type of bird species to keep them amused.
So, as you can see, whatever pet your valentine has, you should be able to find a great gift; even the littlest mouse would appreciate a new toy.
Maybe if you are expecting to get engaged on Valentine’s Day, it might happen if you keep her pet engaged too!
And, we don’t see why this would not work on the opposite sex. If you have a favorite man in your life, he might like a gift certificate to his favorite fish store or a brand new fetch toy for his best friend.
